Michael Reilly, M.A. (Cantab), J.D.

Michael Reilly has a broad range of qualifications, including a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge in England, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado School of Law at Boulder.  He has a Certificate in International Trade from the Rocky Mountain World Trade Center.  

Michael is licensed to pratice law in Colorado, and is a Registered U.S. Patent Attorney.  He is also one of a handful of geophysicists who are now practicing  patent law.  His background and experience in oil and gas exploration are now being applied to intellectual property in geophysics and related areas.

Currently, Michael's main focus is his role as Counsel for Hughes Tool Company LLC, a Colorado-based startup which is developing tools and techniques for frac-free drilling for oil and gas, carbon sequestration, and geothermal energy.

Michael is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the Denver Geophysical Society.
